Privacy Policy

The short version
Super Drag collects no personal data. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, no advertising, and no account system. Everything the extension stores lives in your browser. This page explains the details — and the few third parties that can ever be involved.
1. Who processes what
| Data | Processed by | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Your settings (engines, directions, preferences) | Your browser's extension storage | Locally, and via your browser's own sync service if you have sync enabled |
| Debug traces (only if you enable debug logging) | The page you are debugging | In the page's DOM only; never sent anywhere |
| License status (paid features only) | universeroc via our payment processor |
A license key you enter, and its validation state, in extension storage |
| Payment information | Our payment processor (Dodo Payments), never us | With the processor; we never see or store card data |
2. What the extension does with web pages
Super Drag reads page content only at the moment of a drag you perform, to determine what you dragged (selected text, a link, an image). That content is used to execute your gesture and is never transmitted to us. When a gesture opens a search or a link, your browser navigates to that site exactly as if you had typed or clicked it — from that point the destination site's own privacy policy applies.
3. Settings and sync
Settings are stored in your browser's extension storage. If your browser's sync feature is enabled, settings sync through your browser vendor's infrastructure (e.g., Google Sync), under that vendor's privacy policy. We have no access to, or visibility of, your synced data.
4. Payments (paid features)
Payments for optional paid features are processed by our merchant of
record, Dodo Payments (dodopayments.com). We never receive or store your
payment card details. What we can see is limited to what Dodo Payments
shares with us for license fulfillment: license status (active/expired)
and the license key itself. Refunds and billing inquiries are handled per
Dodo Payments' and our published policies at https://github.com/universeroc/super-drag/issues.
5. Communications
We do not send emails or messages unless you contact us first. Support and feedback run through public channels (e.g., GitHub issues) — anything you post there is public and governed by that platform.
6. Children
The extension is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we knowingly collect no data from anyone, including children.
7. Your rights
Because we process no personal data, there is generally nothing to access, correct, export, or delete on our side. Where applicable law nonetheless grants you rights in relation to us, contact [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. Data in your browser is under your control: uninstalling the extension removes its local storage.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our practices change (for example, when paid features launch) and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced in the extension's what's-new page and on the GitHub repository.
