End User License Agreement (EULA)

1. Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between you and universeroc ("we", "us"), the developer of the Super Drag browser extension (the "Software"). By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software you accept this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install the Software and uninstall any installed copy.

2. License grant

We grant you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software for personal or internal business purposes, on any number of devices you own or control, in accordance with this Agreement.

  • Free tier. The core functionality of the Software is provided free of charge.
  • Paid features. Optional paid features ("Pro"), if and when offered, are licensed per the plan purchased (subscription or lifetime) and remain active while the corresponding license is valid. Subscriptions are billed through our payment processor; lifetime licenses do not expire.

3. Software ownership and source code

The Software is proprietary. Its source code is not licensed for copying, modification, or redistribution, and is not published. Our public feedback repository contains no source code; it exists solely for issue tracking and discussions. This Agreement governs your use of the distributed Software (including store-distributed versions) and any associated services.

4. Intellectual property

The Software is licensed, not sold. We (or our licensors) retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights. Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership to you.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer the Software except as permitted by applicable law; (b) remove or obscure any proprietary notices; (c) resell, sublicense, or distribute the Software as your own; (d) use the Software to violate any law or third-party right; (e) interfere with the Software's operation or bypass license or feature controls.

6. Third-party services

The Software interacts, by design, only with: (a) web pages you visit, at your direction; (b) your browser's built-in extension storage and sync; and, for paid features, (c) our payment processor's checkout and license validation service. We do not embed advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. Search engines and sites you navigate to via a gesture are governed by their own terms.

7. Disclaimers

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY WEBSITE OR BROWSER VERSION. Websites change constantly; page-specific behavior may vary.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed:

  • for free use of the Software: the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the Software in the twelve months preceding the claim and (b) USD 10;
  • for paid features: the total fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (for lifetime licenses, the purchase price).

Nothing in this Agreement limits or excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the mandatory law of your jurisdiction of residence as a consumer.

9. Termination

This Agreement terminates automatically if you fail to comply with it. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the Software. Sections 4, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.

10. Governing law and dispute resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Beijing, China — unless the mandatory consumer-protection law of your jurisdiction of residence grants you a different forum, in which case that law and forum prevail to the extent it mandates. Nothing in this Agreement deprives you of protections your local law provides that cannot be waived by agreement.

11. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the extension's what's-new page and on the GitHub repository at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Minimum-age notice: the Software is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly accept agreements from them.
